What is the difference between a document and an envelope in Documenso?

The envelope actions - Create Envelope, Create Envelope Items Bulk, Distribute Envelope - group several items and their attachments into one package, and Get Envelope Audit Log is where the signing trail for that package lives.

Can Ayro place the signature fields, not just attach the file?

Yes. Create Document Field positions a single field, Create Document Fields (Bulk) places a whole set in one call, and Update Document Fields Bulk moves or edits them afterwards. The template equivalents, Create Template Field and Update Template Fields Bulk, do the same on a reusable template so every send starts correctly laid out.

Can signing happen inside our own product rather than on Documenso?

Create Embedding Presign Token V2 Beta issues the token an embedded signing experience needs, so the signer never leaves your application. Ayro can generate it in the same exchange that created the document, and Download Signed Document returns the completed file once it is signed.

How does Ayro keep sent documents findable afterwards?

Create Folder and Find Folders give the filing structure, Move Document V2 puts a document into the right one, and Find Documents V2 searches across them by criteria. Duplicate Document V2 copies an existing request when the next one is almost identical, which keeps the naming consistent as the folder fills up.
